When you use a website to make money, you gotta be willing to roll and adapt with the changes. This happens with every platform where people make money…things change, and there’s some dust kicked up as not everyone likes the changes. I’m not on the panic train…if Medium ends up focusing on publications, I’ll try to focus on that. If it is really not working out for me, I’ll find something else, but it’s still a great platform for me to find readers and communicate with other writers, so the community is invaluable to me as well. Websites iterate and change. What works today won’t work tomorrow. When it settles and the path is clearer, we can strategize.
