Unfortunately, a lot, ranging from physical abuse to just making that woman’s life hell. if a woman is afraid to do something solo and needs her boyfriends approval, he’s probably emotionally manipulative, or worse. Plus it’s a learned behavior for women to be people pleasers and that can take years to overcome. My ex boyfriend used to yell, threaten violence, and blackmail me if I wanted to go eat with a friend and he was in a bad mood. So anyone who asks this question in the travel group probably feels some fear in doing what they want, sadly. I had similar concerns when I was in an abusive situation.
