Please see my comment. It explains the contradiction. Basically MGTOW members don’t have as many prospects as women, but they are pretending to reject them. They typically will date a woman if a prospect comes along. What you pointed out is the inherent difference between the two, which is woman typically always have more prospects than a MGTOW advocate.
