I’m Gonna Start Telling Anti-Vaxxers How Horny I Am

Oversharing is my strategy.

Something frustrating I have learned: Anti-vaxxers never want to stop talking about conspiracies. They never want to stop talking about ways the vaccine doesn’t work. It’s not really a discussion…it’s just sort of like, picking a fight, or calling you dumb. They don’t even really seem to believe the vaccine is bad for you, but want to make a show of not getting it themselves. It definitely seems like a “I don’t want people to tell me what to do” choice, and not a “I’ve looked at all the information and made up my mind” choice.

I’m not going to change their minds, and I’m not interested in the lesson in futility.

So what am I to do? Someone who is pro-vaccine, who is held hostage in this situation with someone who just wants to try to make me feel ignorant? (SHEEPLE!)

Arguing back doesn’t work.

Even being like “that’s interesting!” doesn’t work, because they seem to just want to argue about it, and they get annoyed if you just try to move on or show disinterest.

But arguing with an anti-vaxxer is not a real discussion. They’re not trying to actually figure anything out. They just want to argue, and quite frankly, I don’t have the energy for that crap.
