I Am Not The Ideal Creator.
So my growth is linear over exponential.
Websites have ideal users and content creators.
When Instagram began, they curated their app so the best and most artistic photographers were featured. Mainstream dating apps prefer vanilla over kinky, and even OkCupid drained almost all of the kink content that made it so unique to start with. Facebook has its ideal user, and it’s desperately trying to appeal to a younger audience and get in on the next thing…aggressively so. China-based apps like TikTok and Newsbreak have super strict content rules and moderation.
I am not the ideal user or content creator. For any website.
My growth on this site and on all the sites I have ever joined has been linear, not exponential. And websites love exponential growth.
How do I know for sure that I’m not the ideal creator? I’m writing and posting this from my phone using mobile web because the ability to post from the phone was quite literally removed. I’m doing the opposite of what the ideal use case is. (That is why the caption to my photo is all messed up.)
And that’s fine by me. Every site needs…😈😈😈 EDGE CASES.
