Hi Ben! That is what I usually do…stay three to six months in a place. But it still doesn’t really help because starting all over with a yoga schedule or a belly dance schedule is exhausting. Once you start building momentum and a reputation, you leave. Three to six months isn’t really enough time.
I think even if I found someone else who wanted to be nomadic, after a while something would happen where it would be more advantageous for us to stay somewhere for longer than a few months, something that lines up with one of our goals. Good opportunities usually require your physical presence and a stretch of time. Unless of course they don’t have any goals? Which wouldn’t be the kind of relationship I would want.
Being nomadic was definitely fun, but the more I think about what I want long term, the more I realize it will eventually require me to have some kind of “base.” Moving frequently is in itself exhausting and depleting.
