The World Needs You.

You stopped caring because it was too hard. Because you realized the game was rigged. Because you felt like things were stacked so hard against you, that the best thing to do was to stop caring.

Caring meant a disappointment that you could not take. Caring meant realizing that perhaps you were hurt. Scarred. That something got to you.

You were not wrong. But we need you to come back from the fog.

The world needs you.

There is no one else like you, with your strengths and your way of looking at the world. The unique combination of you.

Put down the curse. Put down the hopelessness.

You are not cursed: Not from your past, your childhood, the bad things. You are not doomed. The whole universe wants you to heal. To come back.

It is true that you may not accomplish what you want to accomplish, what you set out to accomplish.

But you might achieve some of it — And you may accidentally achieve something else entirely.

We disassociate to protect ourselves. You protected yourself. You are still you…still intact. You protected yourself from the bad thing, whatever that thing was.

For what?

What did you protect yourself for?

To sit on the sidelines?

No. The world needs you.

You. Not someone like you but with less baggage. Not someone like you but who didn’t suffer the bad thing. Not someone like you.

You.
