breaking curses

it’s okay//im breaking curses. it’s messy//hair, blood, broken promises//some people get angry when you tell them//that they are not doomed/some people want their curses because//they built a lie of their identity around them/so it’s thankless work/breaking curses//you see the rage/you have to respond calmly/you have to ignore/comments, insults, digs, judgments///if you break curses/then you know too/you know what it’s like/when fair doesn’t matter/you know what it’s like/to stop a rock from rolling down a hill/if you break curses/then you know too/how hard it is/to stop a passing buck///and also/how rewarding/it is.
